Exclusive: Fast-growing chicken restaurant to open seven area locations

A fast-growing, Arkansas-based chicken restaurant is preparing to break into the Memphis market in a big way.

The franchise group DHR has agreed to open seven Slim Chickens stores in the Mid-South within the next 60 months. It plans to start with Southaven's $200 million Silo Square development, before opening restaurants in Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch and Northeast Arkansas.
