Jerry Lee Lewis Memorial Statue Unveiling Celebration

  • Lucky Dog Music Hall & Bar (map)

Join us on Friday, September 20 for a night of honoring a music legend & Southaven native– Jerry Lee Lewis! Over the last year and a half, a life-size bronze statue of Jerry Lee Lewis has been in the works and next Friday, it will be unveiled to the public! Thanks to our presenting sponsor, F&F Construction, and many other generous sponsors, this would not be possible!

Music starts at 5:00pm, the life-size bronze statue will be unveiled at 6:00pm and music will continue into the night! This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! No reservations needed. Come out and enjoy good food, drinks, and most of all– enjoy ROCKING music!

All the way from France, Lukas Koeninger “The Traveling Piano Man” will be our first performer of the evening. The self-taught Rock'n'Roller discovered his love for music at age 17 and ever since pursued his dream, fighting many challenges and setbacks but never quitting. Accompanying Lukas on the drums is Adam Dugger from Louisiana.

Finley Watkins from Bernie, MO will help us finish off the night! He is a tribute artist who loves Rockabilly and Blues music, and a talented musician who plays eight different instruments. Finley has appeared as a tribute artist on NBC's, Little Big Shots, with Melissa McCarthy. After watching Finley perform live in Millington, TN, Jerry Lee Lewis said, "He has it! He is gonna be a star!" We cannot wait to see Finely perform on the Lucky Dog stage!
