CAKE

CAKE is coming to BankPlus Amphitheater on Friday, April 18!

Cake, best known for their hit "The Distance," became iconic in the '90s with their blend of quirky, genre-defying sounds, including rock, funk, hip-hop, and jazz. Their music was marked by ironic detachment, dry humor, and satirical lyrics, often delivered in a speak-sing style by frontman John McCrea. The band found success with their second album, Fashion Nugget, and the smash hit "The Distance," leading to several more radio hits. Despite lineup changes and critics’ mixed opinions on their sardonic style, Cake continued to enjoy commercial success with albums like Prolonging the Magic, Comfort Eagle, and Pressure Chief. Their unique, low-key approach and independent spirit kept them a significant presence in alternative rock for decades.

KANSAS, 38 Special, & Jefferson Starship

Get ready for an unforgettable night at BankPlus Amphitheater as classic rock legends Kansas, 38 Special, and Jefferson Starship take the stage together on Friday, June 13!

KANSAS, one of America’s iconic rock bands, has sold over 30 million albums worldwide since forming in 1974. With classic hits like "Carry on Wayward Son" and "Dust in the Wind," the band dominated the charts throughout the '70s and '80s, playing to sold-out arenas. Known for their powerful sound and unique blend of progressive rock, KANSAS continues to perform to enthusiastic crowds and remains a fixture in popular culture through appearances in commercials, video games, and films, including The Suicide Squad and Pitch Perfect.

.38 Special, formed in 1974 by Donnie Van Zant (brother of Lynyrd Skynyrd's Ronnie Van Zant), evolved from Southern rock to a dynamic mix of blues-infused hard rock, creating a string of hits in the ‘80s like “Caught Up in You” and “Hold On Loosely.” With albums like Wild-Eyed Southern Boys and Special Forces, they became a staple of arena rock, earning platinum success and a loyal fanbase. Though their popularity waned in the late ‘80s, the band’s biggest hit, “Second Chance,” came in 1989, and despite some shifts in lineup, .38 Special has continued to tour and cement their legacy in classic rock.

Teddy Swims - I've Tried Everything But Therapy Tour

Teddy Swims brings his I've Tried Everything But Therapy Tour to BankPlus Amphitheater on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Singer-songwriter Teddy Swims found himself on the path towards self-forgiveness when he started putting pen to paper for his debut studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1). Though he’s released music and toured the world since making his debut in 2019, the 31-year-old Georgia-born artist has spent much of the last four years writing his way towards an album that would tell this story – his story – to the people who were ready to receive it.

An emotionally walloping and deeply resonant body of work to be released in multiple parts – much like Teddy’s own journey of self-discovery – I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1) is an album about diving headfirst into healing without any floatation devices. It finds Teddy working out some very big, very real issues through his music. “Now I’m watching people connect with the messages and stories and realizing not only are the songs helping me, but they’re also helping them too,” he says. “It feels like all that work on the back end, all that internalizing, is finally making a difference.”

"My debut album is an honest look into my mental health journey. I believe therapy could really be beneficial to myself and anyone willing to take the steps to heal. But, for some reason I still have something holding me back. I know there are answers to the questions I’m not ready to ask myself. This album is my first step towards being vulnerable about this journey and the steps I need to take to heal."

Three Dog Night & Little River Band

Three Dog Night & Little River Band are coming to BankPlus Amphitheater on September 18! Get ready to hear timeless hits like "Mama Told Me (Not To Come)," "Joy To The World," "Reminiscing," and "Lady!" Tickets are on sale Friday at 10 AM.

Combining Hollywood pizazz with soulful swagger, Three Dog Night sounded big and brassy even in their quietest moments. The bold, colorful blend of show biz savvy, punchy horns, and gutsy vocals gave Three Dog Night a remarkable string of Top Ten singles in the early 1970s, hits that helped define the dawning of post-hippie pop music.

Little River Band was formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975. Originally a blend of musicians who had enjoyed success in other Australian acts, the new goal was airplay on American radio. With good songwriting, powerful vocals, and guitar harmonies, they immediately claimed their place as one of the great vocal bands of the ‘70 and ‘80s.
